Shakira acaba de lanzar "Me Enamoré", el single principal de su noveno álbum de estudio. La canción fue escrita y producida por Shakira, y coproducida por The Rude Boyz (productores de "Chantaje"). La canción describe cómo Shakira conoció a su actual novio Gerard Piqué en 2010 en una noche de fiesta con Mojitos. Ahora con dos hijos (Milan y Sasha), la pareja acaba de cumplir 6 años desde que oficialmente confirmaron su relación en las redes sociales.

El 28 de marzo de 2017, Shakira anunció la alianza entre su Fundación Pies Descalzos, la Fundación F.C Barcelona y la Fundación la Caixa, para construir la nueva escuela "Institución Nuevo Bosque" en Barranquilla, Colombia. El mismo día Shakira tuvo una entrevista con Univision para hablar sobre su nuevo sencillo y proyectos futuros.

Durante la entrevista Shakira reveló que planea hacer la mejor gira de su carrera entera, y concluyó diciendo: "Tengo las ideas claras de cómo quiero que sea y, como hace mucho tiempo no salgo, va a ser como un reencuentro con el público, muy potente y muy intenso".

After 3 years, Shakira’s new album is getting closer. Led by the club-ready single "Me Enamoré" and the hit buzz single "Chantaje", the album would be released earlier this summer.

Shakira just released “Me Enamoré”, the lead single from her upcoming ninth studio album. The song was written and produced by Shakira, and co-produced by The Rude Boyz (“Chantaje” producers). The track describes how Shakira met her current boyfriend Gerard Piqué in 2010 in a party night with Mojitos. Now with two sons (Milan & Sasha), the couple just turned 6 years since they officially confirmed their relationship on social media.

On March 28, 2017, Shakira announced the alliance between her Pies Descalzos Foundation, the F.C Barcelona Foundation and la Caixa Foundation, to build the new “Institución Nuevo Bosque” school in Barranquilla, Colombia. On the same day Shakira had an interview with Univision to talk about her new single and future projects.

During the interview Shakira revealed that she plans to make the best tour of her entire career, and concluded by saying: "I have clear ideas of how I want it to be and since I haven’t toured for a long time, it's going to be very powerful and very intense”.

New Single / Nuevo sencillo - Oct. 28.

~ Shakira's new single is coming on Friday, October 28th, featuring Colombian sensation Maluma.

After the success of Shak's "La Bicicleta" with Carlos Vives, she is ready to release the lead single from her new album, apparently coming on December, 2016. According to Jessie Cervantes from 'Publimetro México', the new song will be titled "El Chantaje" (Blackmail in english) which sounds like a huge radio hit. The song was produced by the Grammy-winner record producer 'Supa Dups' and the lyrics were written by Shakira and Luis Fernando Ochoa (known for co-working with Shak on albums like "Donde Están Los Ladrones?", "Fijación Oral, vol. 1" and "Sale El Sol").

New Music + The Voice + Oral B + Tour

After finishing the album between June (2013) and January (2014), Shakira´s label have decided to launch the first single on January 13th, called "Can´t Remember To Forget You" (ft. Rihanna) and an spanish solo version called "Nunca Me Acuerdo de Olvidarte". The very rumored track "Dare (La La La)" will be included on the Bonus Track.

The album will come out on March 25th during the singer´s participation on the American reality show "The Voice" (season 6). 

Shak´s upcoming self-titled album 'Shakira' was made with electronic producers and incluiding some Latin Pop, Country and Brazilian rhythms. Also it has some rock sounds with a song dedicated to her special friend Gustavo Cerati. According to Estopa (owners of the studio where Shakira recorded her production in Barcelona) the singer´s album includes a strong ballad dedicated to her boyfriend Gerard Piqué, called "Empire" that has been selected as the official second single. The album´s tracklist will include 12 songs in the standard edition and 15 tracks on the deluxe edition, that were selected from more than 25 songs produced in the last 2 years. The album has a version of the Catalan song called Boig per tu.

The album will have collaborations by Carlinhos Brown on the song titled "Dare (La La La)" and by Blake Shelton on "Medicine". Also has co-writing collaborations by Hillary Lindsey, Shea Taylor, Norman Whitfield and Sia Furler.

Shakira was selected to promote some brands like T-Mobile and Oral B. In addition, the singer returned to the sixth season of The Voice, premiered on February 25th.

Also according to exclusive information by Live Nation, after almost three years, the singer will start her new world tour in 2015, but it promises to be completely different to what was offered in previous tours.

NEW DETAILS FROM SHAKIRA´S EIGHTH STUDIO ALBUM

In 2011, Shakira was in the recording studio exploring new rhythms and sounds, however, until March 2012, the Colombian singer made official the start of her new job. She explored electronic and danceable rhythms, meeting with producers as RedOne, Skrillex, Tiesto, LMFAO, among others. For her pregnancy, motherhood and work at The Voice (2013), the singer decided to take a break to music. In July 2013 pop sensation decided to return to the recording studio between the United States, Brazil and Spain to finalize details on her next music production, where however, this time, the singer was influenced by genres like country and rock to the new compositions for her next CD. The last week, Estopa (owners of the Barcelona´s recording studio where Shakira is currently working) confirmed that the singer wrote, produced and recorded a powerful ballad that could surpass the success of her most important ballad so far, "Underneath Your Clothes ".
Shakira will back until October to L.A to meet with RCA Records and Roc Nation to finish the album and organize the promotional and releases dates , which could be in November of this year or in the first half of 2014.

La ultima semana de Agosto, la banda Estopa (dueños del estudio de grabación de Barcelona donde Shakira esta trabajando) confirmaron que la cantante compuso, produjo y grabó una potente balada que podria superar el éxito de su balada mas importante hasta el momento "Underneath Your Clothes".
Ella volvera a Los Angeles para encontrarse con la producción de RCA Records y Roc Nation para terminar el album y organizar las fechas de promoción y lanzamientos, las cuales podrian ser en Noviembre de este año o en el primer semestre del 2014.

"I did Zumba throughout my pregnancy," Shakira says. (We love the mental image.) "That helped me not gain too much weight." Post-baby, she did Zumba four to five mornings a week and even trained privately with its creator and CEO, Beto Perez, for a week.

"Two minutes of ab work isn't enough," says the star, who focused on tightening her stomach throughout her workouts.

"I'm quite proud of my rear," Shakira says. To tone it, Kaiser had her hold a plié and squeeze her glutes 30 times. And cardio dance moves, Kaiser adds, helped create "more well-rounded" legs than she'd get only by running or on the elliptical.
Shakira had eight small meals a day (200–250 calories each). Fiber filled her up; protein, calcium, iron and fish oil built muscle.
"I don't obsess over my flaws, because I see my body as a whole," Shakira says. "Besides, I think men appreciate confidence more than perfection."
